- Can I bring my dog to Hotel Zuiderduin?
Yes, Hotel Zuiderduin has special rooms where dogs are welcome. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, pud, bowling, sauna and swimming pool.
Before making a reservation, we kindly ask you to contact us first to check the availability of rooms that allow dogs. We would like to inform you that we allow a maximum of two dogs per room and that an additional charge of € 20,00* for one dog per night and € 25,00 for two dogs per night will be charged. Please take this into account when planning your stay.

- What are the check-in and check-out times at Hotel Zuiderduin?
At Hotel Zuiderduin you can check in and check out 24/7. Your room is available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Check out is possible until 10.30 am. Are you staying in the suite of Hotel Zuiderduin? Then you have until 12.00 to check out.
- How can I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation online as well as by telephone. It is also possible to make reservations at the reception desk of the hotel. The reservation is subject to availability.
Online booking
Making an online reservation is easy:
- Select the desired offer, hotel room or apartement. Click on 'Prices and availability' or 'Reserve this room'.
- Select the desired arrival & departure date, number of rooms and number of persons. Click on 'Check availability'.
- Click on the 'Select' button for the desired room.
- Add any extras to the reservation and click 'next' to enter your details.
- Fill in your name and address or log in with your account. Click on 'I want to check my booking'.
- Check the reservation, choose your payment method* and click 'I want to pay'.
Once you have completed all the steps, you will receive a booking confirmation at the e-mail address you provided.
* Have you opted for an online payment method? Select your bank and follow the instructions to complete the payment.
* Have you chosen 'Pay on arrival'? Then we ask you to pay the total amount at check-in.

- Are online reservations and payments safe?
It is safe to make your online reservation via the Hotel in Egmond website. Data is transferred encrypted over a secure connection. You can see this by the closed lock in the address bar.

- How can I reserve a baby cot?
Would you like to reserve a cot (€7.50 per night)? Then contact our reservations department on +31 (0)72 750 2000 or fill in the contact form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
- Is breakfast included at Hotel Zuiderduin?
Breakfast is included* during your stay at Hotel Zuiderduin. You are welcome between 07.30 and 10.30 for breakfast at Restaurant Zuiderduin.

- Can I park free of charge in Egmond aan Zee?
Paid parking applies in Egmond aan Zee:
- 1 March to 1 November, from 10 am to 7 pm.
- 1 November to 1 March, on Saturdays and Sundays from 10. a.m. to 7 p.m. Free parking applies on all other days.

Some accommodation at Hotel in Egmond has its own parking facilities. Other accomodations have a digital parking permit avaiable for a fee. Here you can read what applies to your preferred hotel or appartment.
New Parking Meters
The municipality has begun replacing parking meters, with work in Egmond aan Zee expected to continue until mid-April. The new parking machines introduce several changes:
- Payments are now exclusively digital, accepted via bank card or phone. Coin payments are no longer available.
- Tickets will no longer be printed; instead, a digital ticket can be issued, and control is based on the license plate number you enter.
You can still use a parking app as an alternative to the parking meters.
Please note that parking regulations, permits, and permit zones will remain unchanged despite the replacement of parking meters.
- Can I park my car at Hotel Zuiderduin?
Guests of Hotel Zuiderduin can use our parking deck or car park free of charge, subject to availability:
- Our hotel has 370 rooms and offers 245 on-site parking spaces, therefore we cannot guarantee a parking space for every guest. Booking in advance is not possible, entering the license plate number in advance does not guarantee a parking space.
- If there are no more parking spaces available, you can park on the street in Egmond aan Zee. This is paid parking, the parking rate is € 2.40 per hour, with a maximum of € 14.40 per day. You can pay at the parking meters outside.
- On your day of departure, you can use our parking facilities free of charge until 12 noon at the latest.
Important: by order of the fire brigade, electric cars are not allowed to park in our garage. You can park your electric car on our parking deck.
Parking without staying overnight
Are you not a hotel guest but are you coming to Hotel Zuiderduin to dine, swim or go bowling? Then we ask you to park outside our hotel grounds. Paid parking applies in Egmond aan Zee:
- 1 March to 1 November, from 10am to 7pm.
- 1 November to 1 March, on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm. Free parking applies on other days.

- What are the cancellation policies of this hotel?
Subject to our terms and conditions, it is possible to change your stay date or cancel free of charge up to 3 before arrival. This also depends on the period in which your stay falls.
- You can cancel the booking free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival. Afterwards 100% cancellation costs.
- A (one-time) rebooking up to 24 hours before arrival is possible free of charge. Rebooking costs of €25.00 will be charged within 24 hours before arrival.
- The Uniform Conditions for Catering Reservations apply to conferences and events, which you can find on your confirmation.

- This applies to reservations which you book directly with our hotel (not when booking through a booking agency).
- These cancellation conditions are not valid for the Last Minute Special (Non Refundable).
